Hello, spring.

Not much that I'm "allowed" to post these days, since commissions are generally kept secret and show work is quiet for now, but I have been using my tumblr to post art-related bits (and bad journals/sketchbooks that I refuse to put here). This tumblr has become an interesting experiment - I actually talk about things. You know, almost like I'm a real person. Amazing! But please disregard the cynical commentary in the last few posts. Part of being a real person means I sometimes have bad days, and sometimes my love-hate relationship with art is more like a hate-hate relationship.

Ashley (who shares the same first name as my little sister) sent me a surprise email with this photo attached, along with some too-flattering words (thank you again!<3). I admire anyone that has the guts to get a chest piece. I'm pretty sure it's the one area of my body that I could never handle getting tattooed.

I drew this for my beautiful roommate, and she got it tattooed on her today. I would tell you the story, but it's not mine to share.<3

Philadelphia summary!

I'm sorry that I keep linking you to larger posts over on my Livejournal (which is essentially a carbon copy of this blog), but they're too long/image heavy to put here without my layout exploding/making me go all sorts of obsessive compulsive on it.

So that said, here is a link to a summary of my trip.

Re:Format(ting my life!)

This is my fourth attempt at this record, and that's it. I don't care if it's amazing or not, I'm not starting over again! It's not finished, I need to paint/attach some cloud-like things to it. Yes, I said attach. This is a bad scan, I should probably just get batteries for my camera.


A very nice girl got this drawing of mine tattooed on her. A+ to her artist, I'd say maybe only 1/3rd of the tattoos I've seen of my drawings come out decently.
